Five memory boxes
VocaLoom uses the Leitner system, a proven spaced-repetition method. Every word has its own schedule, so you review only what is due — never your whole list.
- Add a word. Take a photo of a page, pick a screenshot, paste text or type. VocaLoom recognises the words — even only the ones you highlighted, starred or underlined — and you choose which to keep.
- Get to know it. Each word becomes a card with its translation, pronunciation, example sentences and the grammar that matters: articles and plurals, verb forms, synonyms and antonyms. You study it first; there is no test yet.
- Review from the next day. Every new word starts in Box 1. If you remember it, it moves to the next box and comes back less often. If you forget it, it returns to Box 1 for more practice.
- Master it. A word you remember in Box 5 is learned and moves to your archive. Your words and progress are never deleted.
